Flat and curved glass
Floated glass consists on a sheet of glass by making melted glass float over a layer of melted tin. This process produces glass with a uniform thickness and a very evenly flat surface.From this flat glass we can obtain various forms by way of cuts with numeric control. Should we require it with thermal properties, we can curve it according to the molds to be used.
Available types of blown glass:
- Normal blown glass: Thickness: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 y 19
- Optical of greater transparency than normal: Thickness: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 y 10
- Borosilicate with great thermal resistance: Standard thicknesses 3,3 y 3,8
- Glass with UVA filter: Thickness 3,8.
These types of glass can undergo different treatments such as acid or sandy and, in order to reach a better thermal and mechanical resistance, they can be tempered.
